Our most successful fundraiser with the B-Sens to date. The night went smoothly and we “unofficially” raked in at least $2600 for the Wounded Warrior Project!

Oct. 19th to Nov 2nd : Pirates team up with WSKG Public Broadcasting and collect sweaters to help warm our community. Drive is a major annual project of POTS, PHC.
Look for barrels at all Weis (formerly Giant) Markets and select other locations.

01/18/08 THE RESULTS ARE IN...at the 2nd Annual Jimmy Buffett Night with the B-Sens with the help from the folks from the Magic Paintbrush Project, we raised $1232 for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Great job parrot heads! Our concert after the game with Jimmy and the Parrots was a super reward for all of the hard work put into the planning of this event. A big thanks to Delgado's, KHM, and Coughlin & Gerhart for kicking in as major sponsors and helping to fund the band!!!

09/15/07 The 3rd Annual ZOONEYFEST -- Country Pines, Maine, NY. We had a great time at this fundraiser last year. Our booth was right across from the stage so we enjoyed lots of great music. This annual fundraiser benefits local pholks who are suffering from some serious medical issues. This year we are doing frozen drinks and popcorn. If you can't volunteer to help man our booth, try and come down anyway to support a great cause. And the parrot and pirate will be there!!

04/21/07 Pirate Picnic Plans are in the works to have a members only Pirate Picnic. Right now the idea is to have it around July 28th on Cayuga Lake at Myer's Point. Details are in the works, but the day will likely include some food and drink... ARRRR! (I think I see a pattern here with the food and drink... you know how Pirates can be).

04/05/07 SOCIAL! (and business meeting) We are going to meet for a business meeting just before the next social at Jonathan's in Endwell. The business meeting will go from about 5:30 to 6:30 and the social will be after that.

09/23/06 Lowe's Vestal fundraiser to benefit flood victims in Kirkwood -- this event has been cancelled due to lack of participation. Not enough people signed up.

09/17/06 The Zooneyfest was not as big of a success as we had hoped -- maybe due to the tremendous amount of victims in our area after the flood. Nevertheless, we took in some great music (our booth was directly in front of the stage), donated our profits to a great cause and had fun doing it.

09/16/06 ZOONEYFEST fundraiser to benefit some local pholks who are suffering from some serious medical issues. We will be setting up a booth selling pizza, cotton candy, and popcorn. Jo will be there in the parrot costume and Kevin will be in the Capt. Jack costume! If you can't volunteer to help man our booth, try and come down anyway to support a great cause.

08/20/06 Lowe's Upper Front Street fundraiser A HUGE SUCCESS!! Add another succesful benefit to our dossier! Regardless of the rainy afternoon, we managed to collect an amazing amount of building supplies as well as cash donations. Here's the inventory of what we collected:

3600 Feet of drywall tape
48 pounds of dry wall screws
7 paint tray/roller kits
9 roller covers
60 paint brushes
2 face masks
19 2x4's
50 pounds of nails
2 Large Garbage cans (donated by Jim and Jo Summerlee) to hold everything.
$780.00 in cash donations that was turned into Lowes gift cards.
